So, with this being my first blog post and all I thought I should probably make it a good one.. With that in mind though I didn’t really know what would make a good first post? Is that even such a thing? I don’t mean all of my others are going to be bad (well I hope not) But I need something that people are going to want to read, right? I mean that’s how this whole thing works! All that entered my mind when thinking about my first post is that I wanted it/this blog to be published in January, you ask why? I thought January would be a good time as its the beginning of a new year & everyone’s making resolutions. So I thought its a fresh start to get stuck into something new!
So what best to do, then to create a list documenting a few things I want to do/achieve in 2017. I’m not very good at sticking to anything, so I feel like putting it in a post for everyone to see, is a good enough reason to actually finish something and not be a failure haha! Especially as I can look back at this post in 2018 to see what I managed to do. So I created a list and narrowed it down to 3 things..
Number 1 – Save, Save + Save
I know this isn’t anything out of the usual as most people set this as a resolution, but I want to try really hard this year to save enough money for me and Ryan to go on a holiday to Disneyland Florida in 2018.
Number 2 – Capture Everything
Ryan got me a brand new shiny Sony Camera for Christmas, I’ve always loved photography so I want to try and capture my memories and the adventures I hope to go on – Also, I want to document my pictures in photo albums so I’ve actually got hard copies of my pictures to look back on in years to come, instead of only having them electronically.
Number 3 – Read More
When I was younger my favourite thing to do was to go to the library. Since adult things have taken over, reading really isn’t something that is a priority or something that I get time to do. The last time I read a book was in 2014 – That’s crazy! I believe that reading is really good for you, so my last resolution is to try and read at least 6 books in 2017.
So there’s my resolutions! What are everyone else’s?
